Remember this unorganized closet I revealed last week? I am currently working on the makeover for this space and have a budget of ONLY $400. It may seem like a higher budget for a small closet, but I am starting over! Taking out the old closet, painting, finding pieces that will look custom and DEFINITELY finding new lighting. For this budget office closet makeover I am wanting to create a space to house all of the office and crafting supplies, in an organized and stylish fashion. I have been very lucky to find some affordable options to create the look I am going for with the open closet space.

What I am searching for to complete the budget office closet makeover is an overheard light that provides ample lighting, a large piece of art, open shelving and a shelf to hold the printer and baskets for organizing. The most important piece is the shelf. I want it to appear built in and open up the space so it’s easy to walk in to find supplies or print off documents.
The hardest part about this space, in the current state, is that it is very dark, with only one overhead light. I need to find a light that has multiple bulbs to brighten up the space. The one above on the inspiration board is from Rona and really affordable.
